The Guardian UK is reporting that New York Senator Hillary Clinton will accept the position of Secretary of State in the upcoming Obama Administration.
News of the proposition was leaked late last week to much chagrin or praise, depending on who was asked. Top GOP leaders and former Nixon-era Secretary of State Henry Kissinger came out over the weekend in support of the idea.
Clinton faces a daunting task as America’s top diplomat, including a newly-leaked report that the Obama Administration will seek a Middle East peace policy that includes Israel retreating to her pre-1967 borders.

Sopranos actor Carl Capotorto reveals in his new book, Twisted Heads, that degenerate dirtbag and so-called “conservative” talk radio host Curtis Sliwa performed a gay marriage ceremony back in 1977, decades before the now-controversial subject was considered.
In sharing his strangest “Only in New York” story with blogger Gothamist, Capotorto says he was working at a Bronx McDonald’s in 1977 and Curtis Sliwa was his manager.
“Ralph, a co-worker, the first mincing queen I ever met, was planning to wed Vinny, his longtime boyfriend, and recruited Curtis to serve as a kind of mock minister,” says Capotorto. “At the reception, which was held in the community room of a South Bronx project building, Sliwa danced “the robot” all night long, way too intensely, sweating profusely and poking out his moves in a freakish trance.”
Capotorto jokes that since he has not heard from Sliwa’s lawyers yet, he assumes the beret-wearing jerk has not read the book yet. Or perhaps Sliwa just doesn’t read…

An 18-year old German girl has been charged with faking a “hate crime” after she carved a swastika into her own leg and said neo-nazis had attacked her.
Rebecca K. won a “civic courage” award back in Feburary from a German anti-racist group for her story, which involved her defending an immigrant girl against neo-nazis in her eastern home town of Mainichen.
Rebecca K. has been sentenced to 40 hours community service, which she will fulfill at a local anti-racist group.

Sources close to Barack Obama say the American President-elect will persue an ambitious Middle East peace plan that involves Arab countries recognizing Israel in exchange for the Jewish state to move back to its pre-1967 borders.
Oddly enough, the report comes from the UK’s Times Online, while is nowhere to be found in American mainstream media.
The plan’s origins go back to a 2002 Saudi peace initiative which gives Israel an effective veto on the return of Arab refugees expelled in 1948 while requiring it to restore the Golan Heights to Syria and allow the Palestinians to establish a state capital in east Jerusalem. The plan has been backed by the Arab League and Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister and leader of the ruling Kadima party. Obama has reportedly said that Israel would be “crazy” to refuse a deal that could “give them peace with the Muslim world”. Read more »
